Kemarin siang kok iseng nyetel CD Syaharani di mobilku. Dan denger lagu Make It With You nya Bread (album On The Waters). Kuingat-ingat waktu SMA aku malah jarang denger lagu ini. Baru udah kuliah di Bandung sering denger lalu ikutan dendang gara-gara sering diputar di kaset nya tetangga kamar di tempat kos ku. Padahal konon lagu ini ngetop banget di tahun 1970 , alamak...aku masih TK waktu itu. Jadul banget tapi masih enak didengar. Dan Syaharani menyanyikannya dengan lebih baik daripada versi Bread yang asli (terutama di bagian lirik Life can be short or long, love can be right or wrong itu...). Syaharani memang oye.... Tapi memang lagu ini lebih hidup dinyanyikan oleh Syaharani disamping karena Syaharani pinter mengimprovisasinya, musik pengiringnya juga keren. Dibandingin dengan musiknya Bread yang polos banget. Maklum jadul...tahun 70 an...
